Our pony ride superstar who loves meeting children!

About Me

Hi! I'm Kit-Kat, the pony ride superstar of Pine Acres! If you've ever been to one of our events, chances are you've met me. I love, love, LOVE giving rides to children and helping create unforgettable memories. There's nothing quite like seeing a kid's face light up the first time they ride a pony โ€” it's the best feeling in the world! I'm friendly, patient, and always ready for the next adventure. When I'm not giving rides, I enjoy mingling with visitors and getting all the attention. Come say hi and maybe I'll give you a ride!

My Personality

Kit-Kat is energetic, friendly, and absolutely loves children. She's always eager to work and genuinely enjoys being around people. She's patient with first-time riders and knows exactly how to behave around little ones. She has a spunky, can-do attitude that makes her the life of any event.

How to Interact With Me

Kit-Kat loves meeting new friends! She's very used to children and is always gentle. You can pet her neck and sides gently. If you're at an event, ask a farm helper if pony rides are available โ€” Kit-Kat would love to take you for a ride!

Safety Tips

If you're going to ride Kit-Kat, always wear a helmet and wait for a farm helper to help you get on. Never approach her from behind or make sudden movements. Please don't feed her without permission โ€” she has a special diet to keep her healthy and strong!

Did You Know?

Ponies are not baby horses โ€” they are a smaller breed that stays small their whole life!

Conservation Status

Common

Ponies are small equines that developed naturally in harsh, cold climates where smaller bodies were easier to feed and keep warm. They are incredibly hardy and can survive on less food than full-sized horses. Ponies are known for their intelligence, sure-footedness, and gentle disposition with children. They have thicker manes, tails, and coats than horses, which helps them withstand cold weather.
